Oh Anne, great minds etc! I really doubt that birds would utilize the ‘stairs’ so…!!!
So, maybe for squirrels? Or magpies?
Were there to be a food source at the upper levels, squirrels might be tempted. I don’t know much regarding magpies. Are they anything like crows?
They are really big bird that sometimes “strut”
