The sky was pretty tonight, and the moon was very nearly a half moon.
So far, Nanaimo is cold but snow free, and I am thinking about all the people who are struggling to cope with snow and ice. I hope you all survive this onslaught, that you stay off the roads, and that you have someone checking in on you.

Hi Anne: Lots of snow here in Guelph, Ontario and very cold this last week.. Schools and university closed yesterday, but my discussion group still met and we had talks on Putin and Xi Jinpeng and a very good discussion. Roads were slippery, but not bad. Staying indoors. Barb

Hi Anne, cold here in Texas not much snow but freezing rain it’s been coldest the last 2 night. No school yesterday or today due to HVAC problems. The temp now is 30 degrees it was 25 earlier. We are warm no loss of power.
I am glad you are warm, Susan, and that you still have power. I am seeing lots of scary news stories out of Texas, and I’ll be thinking about you.
