The Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton is comprised of four glass pyramids, three housing a botanical garden for each of three different climate zones and one pyramid featuring a special display. Today the special display is all about Christmas and the tree has some lovely glass ornaments that hold tiny plants. Wandering around the gardens and visiting the cafeteria is a perfect way to spend a winter morning.

Beautiful, thank you for sharing ❤️
You are welcome, Pat!
Your signature plant, the Snowbird of Paradise, right?
Yes! It is popularly known as a Bird of Paradise plant but its formal name is Strelitzia.
Right, Bird of Paradise! YOU are the Snowbird of Paradise.☺️
🙂
Lovely display. I always meant to go there, but I don’t think I ever did.
This was the first time I had been there for a few years and it is worth a visit if you are ever in Edmonton.
