As I returned from Edmonton, on my way home I made a stopover in Vancouver. Most of the journey had been above clouds, but as the plane began to descend the landscape became clearer.

I have managed to always get a window seat, and stare out for most of the trip. Exactly for the reason and view, you articulated. Thanks for the views!
I particularly appreciated the fact that my window was clean enough to get such clear photos!
Clean window are not to be assumed, I’m thinking!😉
Well, the same could not be said of my flight from Vancouver to Nanaimo. I had great views of the Gulf Islands, but a sadly murky window.
Oh, that would be disappointing!
It’s one of my favourite things to do when I fly: watching the views that unfold outside the plane window. As soon as the plane takes off, I’ll turn on the flight tracking on the entertainment system, put my headphones on and just gaze out the window. During my travels around the world, I’ve had the opportunity to see (and photograph) some of the most amazing plane window views. They never fail to inspire! Cheers, Aiva 🙂 xx
It is wonderful to see our planet from so high up. It never ceases to amaze me.
