The recent rain brought a shine to the ferns in Cottle Lake Park, which is a part of Linley Valley. The area has numerous trails to discover and, perhaps, get lost in but they are all close enough to a main road that even being uncertain about the route does not detract from the pleasure of walking among the trees.
Our Monday morning hikers were not exactly lost this morning, but just uncertain enough that we were grateful for some reassuring directions from a couple of other park visitors. Here are my pictures of trees, ferns, fungi, lichen, and Cottle Lake.

Beautiful! Lots of snow here still.
Hang in there, Barb. Spring is coming.
Excellent job capturing it all! Beautiful pictures.
Thanks, Sally.
I bet it smelled amazing π
Oh, yes! I can’t describe it, though. I’ll have to think about it.
I have been turned around
I don’t know what this means, Donna.
