In May last year, my sister Carol and I decided to take a cruise so that we could see her granddaughter Bethany perform as a lead singer in the musical entertainment on board a cruise ship. The shows were fabulous, and we luxuriated in the whole experience. For us, that was the whole trip. As a bonus, though, we also got to see Norway.
The visits we made to Bergen, Ulvik, Eidfjord, Stavanger, and Oslo were even more enjoyable than we had hoped for. It was cloudy most days, and a little cold, but the weather didn’t stop us exploring. It was a delightful trip, including an iron age farm, the Thor Heyerdahl Kon Tiki museum, the Viking Ship Museum, and the Vigeland Sculpture Park. I would love to go again. Here are some of the pictures I took.
