My niece and I have just spent a delightful day at Capitola. When we arrived my niece was disappointed to see the fog, but I quite liked it. I don’t often see fog, and it gave the whole beach area a romantic aura. In any case, it lifted fairly quickly. We enjoyed a great meal at Zelda’s and visited lots of interesting arts, crafts, and clothing stores.

Beautiful series of photos. Love the coloured shops/houses? Certain areas of Cape Town are famous for this sort of colorful house painting.
Thank you. Those colourful houses on the beach are small cottages that seem to be either summer homes or rentals.
Today is earth day, the tv is showing different beaches covered with litter. As I look at these pictures, Not a scrap of litter in sight ! Yea!
