Anne: Your post bears repeating. Someone I know recently mentioned travelling in the States and having an American sneer at "your communist medicine". I just can’t understand that attitude. With all the hospital care I have needed in the last years, I would have been out on the street if I had had to pay for it myself unless one of my children took me in. Barb
Absolutely! There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding out there about what it means to have single-payer health care.
