I thought about making an analogy between spider webs and something fragile like human plans, or political ambitions, or romantic fixations, but they all seemed too obvious. You all know already that our best laid plans often go awry. You also know that you would not hesitate to swat away a cobweb that touches your face. So, I decided instead just to show some lovely, clever, temporary, webs on my patio this evening. They may not be there tomorrow.

Oh, well done, spiders! Beautiful!
They never cease to amaze me.
Yes!
Beautiful. Orb weavers by the look of it.
I didn’t know there were other types of spider!
Lots…. Including Spiderman.
😉
Haha! What other kinds of webs are there?
Look up funnel web spiders
crikey!! I don’t want those on my patio, thank you very much.
So pretty! Which reminds me, we have some spider webs to remove from our front steps, before some packages are to be delivered, lol!
Get a long-handled broom, Lorna. 🙂
To be sure! I plan to hand that long-handled broom to my long-armed husband!
Haha!
I loved the photos! 🕸️ I’m glad you chose to avoid the typical web meanings. Like Charlotte, you focused on the beauty and the temporary nature of the beauty. Groovy! 🏄♂️
Thank you, Chuckster! It’s hard to beat the beauties of nature.
Intricate miracles!
When the world is going crazy, it is calming to enjoy a small daily wonder.
