It was a little bit breezy along the waterfront in Nanaimo today, but sunny and refreshing. It was the kind of day when you see people wearing open sandals, shorts, and puffer jackets.

It is always a great view from the waterfront, and those tulips are at the base of the town clock!
Oh! I would love to live in a town that had an actual town clock! That is the stuff of Hallmark movies! The small town in PA where I grew up had a municipal building (akin to a City Hall I imagine), but no clock. Hmm, the older I get the more nostalgic I am becoming.
Next time I am there I will take a photo of it for you.
Anne, a photo would be delightful! I thank you for thinking of that. Recently my memory is recalling old songs, songs from back in the 1940’s even. My Dad must have played records of them or something. I think I may have been too young to actually remember them. I’m not complaining though!

I was away all day and until about 10PM last night. My eldest granddaughter was married yesterday in Mill Valley (Marin County). It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive from San Jose. Outdoor wedding amongst the trees. It was a beautiful ceremony despite Rain! At the reception I had the opportunity to connect with people I had not seen in 30+ years. Altogether a magical day. I find myself exhausted this morning. But it was so worth it! Tiffany is my middle son’s eldest child.
