The Monday walking group today joined two shorter walks to make a roughly 4 km hike altogether. We first enjoyed the scenery at Neck Point Park, although the wind was bitterly cold today. However, we saw bald eagles, so it was definitely worthwhile!
Then we went to Lost Lake Trail, which was a first for me. The trail is among lovely mature trees and the lake has a history rooted in First Nations use, early settlement by Europeans, and the development of hydroelectric power.

It really is a lovely place, Sally. You should visit!
Looks gorgeous.
It does look gorgeous, and the air is lovely, too. I always feel better after a walk in the forest.
I know what you mean. I do too.
Gorgeous scenery
Yes, and I feel very fortunate to be able to enjoy it.
Absolutely marvelous, and kudos for the eagle shots!
Thanks, Ark!
