One of my favourite places in Nanaimo, Morrell Nature Sanctuary is the perfect park for a walk in the forest.
We came across a holly tree that was being taken out because it was an invasive species that had been planted by a settler who brought it from England. We were given the OK to take home some branches to use as Christmas decorations.

Sounds like a great experience. I don’t get out in nature too much lately, but I’ve been to two movies, both of which I would recommend: Blitz and Conclave.
