Near Victoria in British Columbia is a magnificent group of floral display gardens called Butchart Gardens. Every year they decorate with lights for the holidays, and the theme this year is The Twelve Days of Christmas.
I joined a group on a bus tour to the gardens and we thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours appreciating the sights. As we walked around we heard countless people singing to remind themselves of the song when they came across the various tableaux depicting the different days. We also enjoyed seeing small children excited to see animated characters and moving light displays with squeals of delight.

Great display…I loved the fairly lights in the natural trees π
Yes, indeed. I particularly like the green lights in the grove of trees. I think they put something reflective in the trees then shone lights on them from below, but don’t quote me on that.
@snowbirdofparadise.com Lovely! That sounds like a really nice time!

My reply isn’t showing up, for some reason. Possibly because yours includes a link. Anyway, I wanted to say that it was a very enjoyable trip. Two hours from Nanaimo, but well worth it. Also, the last time I was at Butchart Gardens was in 1975 or 76 (not sure) on what was, essentially, my honeymoon.
Love love love it! The colors are so vibrant also #12 reminds me of the brain and all of those neurons talking to each other and memories. π
You are right! It does look like that! Now I can’t see it any other way. π
