Yesterday we had a powerful storm. This is what the morning looked like:

And this is what the evening looked like:

In between those two moments were hours of very strong winds and lashing rain. Boat covers were flapping about wildly, and the sound of clanging metal against masts was constant for hours. Then, when the fury had passed, there was a rainbow. It is easy to see how the rainbow is seen as a sign of hope and new beginnings. It is Mother Nature’s reassurance.
Whoa! Is Mother Nature Kind, fickle, or just plain difficult to predict? I am impressed with the variety of cloud formations though.
All of the above!
