When you leave the Surf Lodge Pub on Gabriola Island, you will be in awe of the view of the Strait of Georgia that greets you. In the distance are pastel suggestions of the mainland, and in between there and you is the deceptively vast arm of the Salish Sea.

Isn’t it glorious! I am so glad I moved here. I enjoyed visiting Gabriola Island with my eldest son and his family when they were visiting over the holiday.
