I never looked at expiration dates much either. Then my daughter got involved. She went through the pantry at the condo and found many expired dates on labels. Then she crept over to our med cabinet and scolded me good. She is adamant regarding exp dates. Potential of making me crazy! LOL
The only reason I started looking at mine was because Melatonin was recommended to me. I knew I had bought some once, so I found it in the medicine cupboard. It was only after I had taken some that I noticed the expiration date: 2014!
Then I went online to find out if it was still OK to take and found very mixed advice. Some say it’s a bad idea but not terrible. Others say take it but don’t double the dosage. And, yet others say it’s fine. I still don’t know what to think.
How did you get into my medicine cabinet?
Haha! It’s everyone’s medicine cabinet, I think. How often do we look at those dates? Hardly ever.

the good news is you don’t use them enough to have current expiration dates.
I’m laughing here, Lynn! That is so funny. I never even thought of that, and you are right. I’m glad I haven’t needed them.
I am always looking at expiry dates – and yet I am still finding Cheerios from 2012!
haha! We are kindred spirits.
