Into Each Life, Some Rain Must Fall

The weather is bad, the news is worse, and I haven’t been out of my house for a few days. Honestly, I’ve been getting a bit depressed. So, today I decided that if the weather wasn’t going to improve, I would make the most of it and take pictures of raindrops.

Here are some of the results. I think my friends and family enduring a heatwave in California might enjoy being reminded of rain.

  1. beautiful photos. That bird and the flower are awesome. It is raining here today as well; I too said heck with it and took one short (around 10 min) one medium (around 25 min) walks. Streets are mostly deserted but nature is for sure enjoying its rejuvenation 🙂

  2. Love your photos today Anne. Indeed we need some of that rain here but today is comfortable and sunny. I suspect we need to appreciate what we are gifted with.

    • I’m glad you like the photos, Mary Beth. I’m even more glad that you are feeling comfortable today. Yes, it’s not always easy, but we have learn to get along with whatever life throws our way.

      • When we allow life to flow (and throw) and we just flow with it, things are far less stressful. Remind me I said this after the next 3 days as we are having a new a/c system installed. LOL Your photos did fill me with peaceful memories and I thank you. I had an email from Chris W (on HOA Board with us). Do you recall?

  3. Your photos are lovely. How can you feel bad? Also I love that song – I remember singing it with my late brother, Doug. Also my Grade 13 maths teacher, Mr. Duncan – whenever someone complained he would say: “Into each life some rain must fall…”. That memory stayed with me, and also that he sat me down right in the classroom and made me apply to McMaster University, and, amazingly, I won a scholarship and went. Your blog led me off into some happy memories.
