Today I enjoyed a nice walk on 108th Street in Edmonton to the Alberta Legislature building. Here are some pictures of the building, a look inside the rotunda, and some of the sculptures near there.

LOL. The are guarding the door to the chamber where all the important stuff happens to keep out the riffraff. I watched the ceremonial mace being carried in there just as I arrived. I didn’t ask if I could go in, and I didn’t ask if they were single. 🙂
I understand they made a cake in the shape of the legislature one time when the Queen was visiting. Imagine.
Wow! That’s amazing, Barb.
Pretty darned spectacular! I like the one of you “being judgemental” LOL
Thanks Sally. I was channelling the wonderful RBG.
What a fascinating walk — and what a beautiful building! How fun too to see you being “judgmental.” You are hilarious! 🙂
Thanks, Heide. The walk I took is mostly pedestrian only or pedestrian priority, which makes it easy!
Impressive photos. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Thank you, Eric.
Thanks for sharing Anne I loved you in the chair, I was wondering those 2 fine gentleman on top of the stairs….are they security? single? lol
