I am thinking about turning some of the Snowbird of Paradise blog posts into a book and would very much like to have your feedback.
One recommendation I have read about is to select a concept and choose only those blog posts that are associated with that concept. For examples; being the mother of an adult transgender child, or what it is like to be a snowbird and drive to California every winter, or funny everyday stuff. You can probably think of other themes that have presented themselves in my blog over the years, and I’ll be happy to get your suggestions.
Once I have fixed on a concept, I’ll select the relevant posts and then rearrange them in a readable order. If any of you want to volunteer to read that draft and give me your opinions, please let me know. I will be very grateful. You’ll probably get a free book!
Then, I’ll be asking for suggestions for a title for the book, cover designs, and so on. I could do this through the blog itself or I could ask just a few of you for feedback. I’m not sure which would be the best way to do this without becoming annoying. Anyway, that won’t be any time soon.

It sounds like you have a good handle on the project. Are you thinking of the book to sell or as a keepsake?
I would like to sell it, but I suspect that the buyers are likely to be people who know me! So, perhaps it will serve both purposes.
