One of the perks of walking around the city is that I see some things that you would probably miss when driving by. You would miss the lovely flower boxes, sculptures in unexpected places, welcoming outdoor restaurant seating arrangements, and murals. Lots and lots of murals. I have posted about these before, but here are some more for your viewing pleasure. (Plus a couple of pleasing examples of unofficial graffiti.)
I would like to credit the artists for these works but have not been able to find their names. Please let me know if you can identify any of them. Thank you.
These are amazing!! The really large one on red brick, musical theme, where did you find it? Love that. Thank you thank you!!

I’m so glad you enjoy these pictures, Mary Beth. The saxophone one is on 2nd Street next to SOFA.
Fabulous! Thank you for sharing!
You are most welcome! I really enjoy my strolls around the downtown and am pleased to share some of the interesting things I see.
that third and forth photos of “the ugliest mural in the world ” ..the mural is now gone …someone graffiti attacked it last wed night and the wall is now all one color ..purple …I HATED THAT MURAL OF THE TREES SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH ..IT WAS TACKY AND POINTLESS..I’m GLAD IT IS GONE …anything will be better than that piece of sh*t
I didn’t know it is now purple. I will have to check it out. I thought it was only temporary to hide construction work, but it has been there so long I guess I was wrong. Thanks for visiting the site, Mrs. H.
